Dr. Ivor Ellul has built his career in the oil and gas industry, serving in executive roles over the last two decades for several energy and technology companies. An entrepreneur, he has founded a number of companies providing consulting services to the energy industry. He founded and currently holds the position of CEO with Knowledge Reservoir, a firm headquartered in Houston providing exploration and production consulting services to oil and gas companies. Dr. Ivor Ellul possesses a master’s degree and a doctorate in petroleum engineering from Imperial College London. Previously, he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Malta. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas and a chartered engineer in the United Kingdom.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ivor Ellul regularly participates in numerous sports, including soccer, squash, and scuba diving. He serves as a trustee on the board of Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, and is a co-founder of the John Stuart Archer scholarship fund at Imperial College London. Active in charity, as well, he has been involved in social work projects in Malta as well as in Sicily where he spent time working with the Sisters of Charity in Palermo educating the children of families living in the poorer areas of the city.
